Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in Test, with a strong focus on automation, quality strategy, and validating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks for backend microservices using Scala-based API testing or similar tooling.
- Strong background in UI automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, with the ability to define scalable, maintainable test architectures.
- Proven ability to build and execute end-to-end, integration, performance, and reliability testing strategies across microservices and cloud-native systems.
- Experience validating applications built with .NET Core, C#, Scala, and data stores like MongoDB or similar NoSQL technologies.
- Solid understanding of AWS microservices architecture (EKS, ECS, API Gateway, OpenSearch) and how to design test approaches for distributed, event-driven systems.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (React or Angular) and the ability to define effective UI and component-level testing strategies.
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), including integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development and testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and interest in leveraging them to improve coverage and efficiency.
