TEKsystems’ Global Proposal Center is seeking project managers and skilled writers to help us advance the business by managing and writing Requests for Proposals (RFXs). As part of a global company, the Senior Proposal Manager will collaborate with teams in the United States and internationally, as well as with other Allegis Group proposal teams, to develop, implement, manage, and enhance global best practices during document development. The Senior Proposal Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of the document creation process for one of our fundamental areas of focus: RFXs. The first involves creating the content needed in response to commercial and state government requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for qualifications (RFQs). Our ideal candidate has superior writing and verbal communication skills, as well as at least 6+ years of experience writing and leading collaborative document creation processes. They are looking to grow their career in proposals or contract creation, have managed the process from beginning to end in previous roles, and are well-versed in APMP and Shipley’s best practices. They are experienced in partnering with executive leadership, directors, and sales to write and respond to RFXs. The Senior Proposal Manager must excel at the day-to-day RFX activities—thriving under tight deadlines, evolving needs, and coordination with matrix teams. They are a detail-oriented writer and experienced project manager who manages their time well while supporting multiple projects that produce measurable results. **Essential Functions:** - Collaborates with sales and a matrix of internal stakeholders to respond to RFXs (Requests for Proposals). - Supports operations by conducting kick-offs, check-ins, and reviews, along with copy editing to ensure the development and timely delivery of high-quality, compliant documents (RFXs). - Establishes clear expectations for operating rhythms and communication norms. - Manages team collaboration and communicates/tracks team action items. - Serves as the initial escalation point for common risks or issues, resolving them or seeking leadership assistance promptly. - Develops and maintains advanced levels of technical and industry knowledge. - Provides mentor-level support to core proposal center operations, including content development, editing, win/loss reviews, and more as needed. - Demonstrates advanced proficiency with the required technology stack. **RFX Functions:** - Analyzes and dissects RFXs, even for the most complex opportunities, to develop win themes and align proposal responses accordingly. - Capable of leading and mentoring all phases of the proposal process, including content management (review and creation), process improvement, response design and development, quality assurance, and proposal delivery. - Able to lead RFX-related improvement initiatives. **Supervisory or Management Responsibilities:** - Supports leadership by providing peer and partner feedback for performance reviews. - Actively participates in the onboarding of new team members. - Serves as a mentor and guides junior team members who seek assistance. - May lead and supervise 1-2 Junior Proposal Managers as part of an integrated team. - Leads or participates in team, departmental, or company improvement initiatives. **Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:** - Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of professional business writing, editing, and project/process management experience are required. - 3+ years of experience in a related field. - Advanced knowledge and proven ability in various concepts, practices, and procedures (e.g., Shipley’s proposal methodologies) are required. - Superior verbal and written communication skills in English are required; Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of West Palm Beach, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $76300.00 - $114500.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
