About the role We are looking for a Staff Fullstack Software Engineer to play a key role in the design and implementation of our Cyberdigital white-labeled platform. As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll be in the middle of it all, acting as a leader and force multiplier – you’ll work with stakeholders to implement functionality, architect our systems, squash bugs, and continually grow as an engineer. The ideal candidate is both forward-thinking and hands-on, has a strong sense of ownership and drive for delivery, and is a good mentor and co-worker. You will be responsible for collaborating with engineering leaders on the architecture direction and making sure you are supporting the team in adopting standards and ensuring that user-facing platforms are robust, maintainable and secure. What you’ll need - Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science Degree, or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university. - 6+ years of Java programming experience. - Our core stack is Java/React, and we run on Kubernetes in a microservices architecture. - 3+ years of experience working in full stack, multi-channel products - A proven understanding of web standards,performance, best practices, security and browser internals. - Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get stuff done. - Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion. - Proven experience in production operations and support. - Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews, and managing pull requests. - Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
