As a User Experience Designer within Digital Program Office, Strategy & Operations, you will be a key contributor to the User Experience Research & Design team, shaping intuitive, scalable experiences for digital products and data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with product owners, strategists, architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows and information systems into elegant, accessible, and reusable design solutions across the Raytheon Digital application portfolio. What You Will Do: - Partner with product owners, strategists, stakeholders, architects, developers, and users to deliver high-impact, user-centered digital solutions. - Conduct and synthesize UX research to uncover user goals, decision patterns, workflows, and information needs. - Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research activities, including: - User and stakeholder interviews - Persona development and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) analysis - Usability testing and heuristic evaluations - A/B testing and experimentation - Translate research insights into actionable design strategies and measurable experience improvements. - Create journey maps, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Design modular, reusable components aligned to our design system and accessibility standards (WCAG). - Write Agile-ready user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team. - Communicate design rationally to cross-functional teams. - Contribute to UX best practices, design system maturity, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Champion user-centered design thinking across product teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Qualifications you must have: - Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience - Experience as a User Experience (UX) designer, interaction designer (UI), or similar role - Experience with designing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent. - Experience conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and the creation of personas, journey maps, and workflows. - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
