Role Description We are seeking an experienced Infoblox Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Infoblox platforms and a strong background in network architecture, security, and automation. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of core network services. This position is on a flex work schedule, meaning more hours may need to be put in one week and balanced with less another week occasionally. - Design and architect scalable and resilient DDI solutions using Infoblox technologies - Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Infoblox appliances and services - Develop and enforce IP address management strategies and governance - Integrate Infoblox with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments - Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to align architecture with business needs - Automate DDI operations using APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible), and orchestration tools - Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and system upgrades - Troubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP/IPAM issues and provide root cause analysis - Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams Qualifications - US Citizenship - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on Infoblox - Strong expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts and best practices - Hands-on experience with Infoblox NIOS platform - Knowledge of network security principles and DNS-based threats - Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, REST APIs) - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Desired Skills - Infoblox Certified Architect (ICA) or related certifications - Experience with cloud networking and integrations (AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, etc.) - Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) - Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards - Experience in large enterprise or service provider environments Company Description For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients’ toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
