The Key Account Manager is a remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned book of Key Account customers. It will require regular overnight business travel. This position works closely with the Vice President of Key Accounts and is a critical component of a strong team approach to increasing sales revenue in the territory. Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints and coatings, petrochemicals, and more. Responsibilities - Maintain and expand the company's existing customer base of Key Accounts across all product lines to achieve growth objectives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing Key Account customers. - Using our established process create, manage, and implement Strategic Account plans for each Key Account in your assigned book. - Maintain a robust prospect pipeline, prepare proposals, submit quotes, author call reports, sales presentations, complete required sales reports, and prepare and present QBRs in support of your assigned book of accounts. - Develop customer programs that allow us to collect empty containers for supplying our reconditioning facilities - Passionately communicate our brand identity and implement company initiatives. Requirements - Minimum five years of B2B industrial sales or distribution sales experience, preferably with industrial-oriented UN packaging. - Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider candidates with appropriate industry experience in lieu of college degree. - Ability to work with large Key Account customers. - Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective listening skills. - Strong new business development mentality with passion to succeed. - Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies. - Ability to develop and understanding comprehensive financial and business plans. - Ability to work in a team environment with senior management as well as plant-level employees. - Comfortable in office, factory, and warehouse environments. - Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot-table experience a plus) and PowerPoint. - Ability to work in a high stress environment with the ability to problem solve, prioritize, and react quickly. - Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. - Experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM tool. - Ability to travel, as necessary. - Must be comfortable working from a remote/home office environment.
