What You'll Do: The Product Data Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the Product Solutions organization. This role is the facilitator all aspects of the Product Solutions data product roadmap and will support initiatives of the corresponding teams who will build, integrate or enhance any new or existing products in their respective portfolio aligned to the product roadmap using Agile methodology. The Product Data Analyst will support Product Solutions data product strategy coupled with the product team, Scrum Master, QA and Engineering. More specifically, the individual in this role will: - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies - Define and execute ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration - Create and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics purposes - Design and implement data models and algorithms to support business objectives and enhance product capabilities - Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support various business initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights - Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise and actionable manner - Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms - Automate and orchestrate ETL processes using PowerShell, scripts, or other technologies What You May Need to be Successful: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - Two more years of experience in data analysis or related field - Proven expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize for performance - Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis - Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools - Ability to understand, organize, manipulate and derive complex data insights from large data sets - Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses - Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques - Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards - Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring - Strong interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building and negotiating skills Why First Advantage is Your Next Big Career Move First Advantage is going through a technology transformation!
