Responsibilities - Designing and implementing high-performance backend features in C/C++ to support our communication platform. - Building and maintaining scalable APIs that power web-based calendar and scheduling workflows. - Collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving customer needs. - Analyzing and improve system performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and ensuring reliability at scale. - Contributing to team practices by sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and supporting an inclusive, collaborative culture. What we’re looking for - Have a Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of industry experience - Have solid proficiency in C/C++, with a track record of building performant, robust applications. - Have experience developing large-scale, distributed backend systems. - Be proficient in Linux development. - Have familiarity with security best practices for backend systems. Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $87 600,00 Maximum: $186 000,00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
