AWS Manager

• Serve as the technical authority on AWS services and cloud architecture • Manage an AWS team • Design and review secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions • Provide guidance on AWS services such as: Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon VPC • Lead cloud migrations and modernization efforts • Develop and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks • Mentor engineering teams and review infrastructure-as-code (IaC) implementations • Optimize environments for cost, performance, and reliability • Support DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines and automation

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience focused on AWS
  • Deep expertise in AWS architecture and services
  • Strong experience with: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Networking, security, and identity management
  • Monitoring and logging tools
  • Experience with cloud security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • Experience in government or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash)
