What you'll do: Are you passionate about financial markets and providing exceptional service? NinjaTrader is seeking a Trading Operations Associate to join our dynamic Trade Desk, Operations, and Risk Management teams. In this role, you'll support our brokerage customers with trade-related assistance through world-class, timely email and phone communication. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy team player who thrives in both fast-paced and slower market environments. In this role you will: - Oversee and manage customer trading activity, including special bookings, allocations, FX trades, and other daily operational tasks - Perform key back-office functions such as trade allocations, treasury processing, and trading platform setup - Monitor and resolve trade breaks, process commission discrepancies and adjustments, and complete end-of-day checks - Assist with contract expiration monitoring and post-trade allocation support - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk Management, Account Management, Finance, and Customer Support - Deliver outstanding customer service by troubleshooting issues and resolving inquiries in real time - Support strategic projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed - Maintain a high level of accuracy while multitasking in a high-pressure environment What you'll need: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field (preferred) - Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot client-side software/computer issues - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable learning and working with proprietary trading software - Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset - Strong team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn - Willingness to work alternate shifts as needed - Flexibility to work mid or overnight shifts, including holidays, as needed - Ability to work a 4x10 schedule (10.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch) - Availability to support weekend coverage as needed Bonus points for: - Passion for financial markets and trading - Prior experience in a trading operations or trade support role - Knowledge of CQG trading platform - Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Compensation: The salary range for this role will be $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 6%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%). Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays. Additional details on our total compensation package and benefits are listed below Location: This role is based in Chicago, IL. *There may be remote flexibility for exceptional candidates in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin. Hybrid: For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
