Director, Product Specialists – Solutions Engineering

Twilio

• Lead, mentor, and scale the North American Solution Engineering team. • Work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive customer acquisition, expansion, and retention. • Oversee the technical aspects of customer engagements, including solution design and implementation strategies. • Serve as a senior technical advisor and advocate for customers within Twilio Segment. • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience. • Maintain deep technical and product knowledge of the Twilio Segment platform and encourage continuous learning and development within the team.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development, data platforms, and cloud technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • A strong customer advocate with a track record of driving customer success and satisfaction through technical leadership and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and grow high-performing technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading Solution Engineering or Product Specialist teams within a CPaaS, UCaaS or Customer Data Platform company.
