Manager, FP&A Systems - Anaplan Let's talk about the team and you: The FP&A Systems and Analytics team is a key enabler to deliver Resmed Finance’s strategic vision of becoming a digitally driven team, where we provide forward looking insight, agile service, and transparent financial management. This team helps Resmed’s FP&A team to enable better, faster decision making through insight and transparency, as well as drive new digitally enabled ways of working. This role will primarily be focused on managing FP&A’s cloud-based planning tool, Anaplan. The right candidate for this role will have significant hands-on experience building and supporting complex financial planning models on the Anaplan platform. The role also supports the execution of the Anaplan roadmap with recommendations and actions for leveraging the Anaplan platform to fulfill business needs and drive process improvement. This role is internal customer facing, so you should be comfortable interacting with leadership within FP&A and other functions. Let’s talk about Responsibilities: - Partner with cross functional teams to understand requirements for enhancement requests to existing models or building new Anaplan models for FP&A use cases - Design, build, test, and deploy new features to existing complex Anaplan models using best practices - Build first class user experiences via Anaplan UX Apps and Pages, as well as Anaplan classic dashboards - Identify ways we can further leverage the Anaplan platform to automate and improve processes, reduce time to insight, and create a better planning experience for our user base - Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions and other model settings - Keep up to date on Anaplan model building best practices, the latest features released, and build models in a consistent and organized fashion - Work with the IT team on the development of data integrations between Anaplan and source systems - Guarantee user success through the creation of user guides, short instructional videos, and conducting live training - Provide technical and functional support to end-users - Strive to expand the connected planning environment at Resmed Let’s talk about Preferred Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or another applicable quantitative major - 4-6 years of experience building Anaplan models, including working with FP&A use cases - Level 2 Model Builder certification required; Level 3 Model Builder, Certified Solution Architect, or Master Anaplanner certification even better - Experience building in Polaris, and leveraging Workflow and Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO) - Ability to interface directly with business stakeholders and clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical individuals in an easy to understand format - Capable of building and maintaining complex data models from conceptualization to model development - Innovative out of the box thinker and problem solver - Ability to modify existing data models to incorporate new functionality while ensuring the integrity of the models is maintained - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently - Superior written and verbal communication skills - Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts - Willingness to learn and ramp-up in new technologies and business functions Joining us is more than saying “yes” to making the world a healthier place.
