• Oversees projects related to the development and maintenance of interactive web-native learning content • Manages the content development and review process, ensuring quality at every stage • Collaborates with internal teams and institutional customers to create custom courses • Provides communication and status updates for projects being managed, keeping all stakeholders informed • Tracks project progress, reports on key metrics, and addresses projects that are going off track • Looks for opportunities to improve existing processes and define new ways of completing work • Schedules and leads team meetings, and participates in cross-functional team meetings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, highly motivated, and responsive
  • Ability to manage change in projects and still meet goals
  • Comfortable with leading meetings and acting as a facilitator for team decision making
  • Experience working effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional organization
  • Basic to intermediate web and computer application usage
  • Experience with XML, MathML, and/or LaTeX is a big plus
  • Familiarity with digital publishing standards and processes

Role Description SWCA is currently seeking a Project Manager – Mining to join our nation-wide Mining Team. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in supporting environmental opportunities within the precious, base, industrial and rare earths markets. This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), salaried position, eligible for distributed work in the Eastern MT, Wyoming or Dakotas areas. Project work will occur primarily in Wyoming and may branch out to support clients throughout the US. What you will accomplish: - Manage medium to large-sized mine permitting, owner’s environmental, NEPA, compliance monitoring, and closure/reclamation support projects ensuring project deliverables meet required standards. - Provide technical, planning, and permitting support to project teams in Wyoming and neighboring states. - Serve as project manager for assigned clients, collaborating with team members to deliver project objectives. - Support the execution of mining projects within the Northern Plains sub-region through effective project management. - Assist with mining projects in other regions as needed, working under the direction of senior staff. - Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders within assigned mining projects. - Contribute to SWCA’s reputation for successfully supporting mining projects with challenging environmental and regulatory requirements. - Identify and recommend innovative approaches within assigned projects and stay informed about developments in the mining industry. - Ensure assigned projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations and internal requirements. - Drive compliance of safety policies and reporting requirements to ensure overall team safety. Wyoming Agency knowledge would be considered a plus. - Strong business development skills as a “seller/doer” to develop productive business relationships with agency, client, and industry contacts.
