• Coordinate and lead project management activities for field-based research programs, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and milestones. • Support and facilitate implementation of research program initiatives, including coordination with field stakeholders, investigators, and program offices. • Maintain and enhance tracking tools, including project, resource, and performance tracking systems, to support program oversight and decision-making. • Support coordination and administration of field-based research and resource centers aligned to VA priorities. • Coordinate communication and collaboration across stakeholders, including facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and supporting follow-ups. • Support SharePoint site management, including optimizing content organization and usability to improve knowledge-sharing resources. • Collect, organize, and synthesize program data to support reporting and dissemination to stakeholders. • Identify and document best practices across field-based research activities and support their adoption across programs. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead or support development and implementation of SOPs, job aids, and training materials. • Support evaluation and adoption of tools (including AI-enabled tools) to improve workflow efficiency, communication, and program effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting program operations, project management, research, or administrative coordination in a complex organization.
  • Experience managing and improving tracking tools and coordinating workflows across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage tasks, prioritize workstreams, and support program-level operations with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and contribute to program-level decision-making.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the Supply Chain proposal efforts for the Standard Missile 3 program. This position reports directly to the SM-3 MPM Proposal Lead. In this matrixed environment, the candidate will be accountable for proposal strategy through completion of pre submittal leadership reviews. Once the contract is awarded, you will then work with the MPM execution team responsible for transition into a production execution environment during execution leadership reviews.
