Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc.
Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Maximo Analyst to support a major national laboratory. The successful candidate shall be proficient in the following areas: custom computer programming, commercial-off-the-shelf application configuration and customization, report development, dev-ops, scripting, and testing. Responsibilities - Investigate, design, develop, test, document, and analyze solutions, including mobile applications and integrations. - Develop new solutions, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software. - Prepare concepts and prototypes for solutions or for specialized software domains and evaluate the cost effectiveness of these concepts. - Provide support to “keep the lights on” for multiple solutions. - Apply software engineering principles to develop and support applications. - Collaborate and coordinate with peers, customers, and other IT service providers - Participate in the planning of system and development deployment as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance and quality standards. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems plus 2 years minimum of relevant discipline, or equivalent experience - Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance - Must be US Citizen - Candidate will reside within the Albuquerque area, but a remote candidate will be considered if willing to travel occasionally. Required Skills: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SQL; a scripting language such as JavaScript/Jython/Python or an object-oriented language such as Java or C#. Desired Qualifications/Skills• Two or more years of experience designing, analyzing, supporting, and developing software solutions for any of the following: in-house developed applications, Maximo, and/or other COTS software.• Experience with configuring and developing interfaces to COTS software packages.• Experience with web services.• Experience in designing/developing and supporting mobile applications, such as Maximo Mobile or other mobile applications.• Experience with an integrated development environment such as Eclipse.• Experience using XML or JSON.• Familiarity with source control such as Git.• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.• Project management skills, including the ability to lead IT projects.• A solid understanding of Facilities business processes.• Strong teamwork skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills.• A consistent record of strong performance.• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
