Technical Sales Engineer

As a Technical Sales Engineer – Service Solutions, you will play a key role in developing and growing our aftermarket business across Europe. Your focus will be on delivering targeted service solutions that help our customers improve uptime, efficiency, safety, and the lifetime of their equipment. Your responsibilities: Plan and execute customer visits across Europe, aligned with customer strategies and our installed base, with a focus on supporting, promoting, and expanding our service and aftermarket solutions. - Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through continuous dialogue – both in person and virtually - Sell and promote our complete Service Solutions portfolio, including service, spare parts, remote support, training, and preventive maintenance - Act as a technical and commercial advisor, supporting customers in extending the lifetime of their equipment and reducing unplanned downtime - Prepare quotations, follow up on open offers, and ensure close alignment with customer needs and expectations - Maintain and update customer activities, cases, and data in the CRM system - Contribute ideas and initiatives that support continuous growth within your customer portfolio Your qualifications: - Technical background, e.g. within mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent relevant industry experience - Experience with aftermarket sales, service agreements, spare parts, or upgrades is a strong advantage - Solid understanding of equipment lifecycle management, spare parts, and maintenance planning - Strong communication skills in English – additional European languages are an advantage - Willingness to travel extensively within Europe (approx. 120 travel days per year) - Valid driver's license - Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written) - Additional languages are a strong advantage – German in particular is highly valued Personal profile: - Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills - Service-minded, proactive, and commercially driven - Able to translate technical insight into value-creating customer solutions - Structured, self-driven, and strong in follow-up and CRM discipline - Curious, collaborative, and motivated by helping customers optimize their business What we offer: You will become part of Service Solutions Europe – a cross-functional, international environment with close collaboration across functions and countries.
