Patient Monitoring Technician

Cardiovascular Associates of America - CVAUSA

• Support patients in collecting remote patient data – examples are blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, pulse oximetry • Communicating abnormal findings to the cardiology care team. • Recording and editing monitor logs • Basic monitor troubleshooting with patients – i.e., managing devices and transmitting data. • Ability to follow clinical protocols. • Orient new staff. • Participate in continued team education through shared learnings. • Contribute to a high-quality service both to physicians and patients.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • EKG technician
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare role or certification in a healthcare role
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Licensed Paramedic
  • Degree in exercise physiology or similar
  • Enrolled in college for nursing or healthcare
  • Great communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Available to work Monday-Friday during traditional business hours
