Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an Automated Testing QA Engineer (Journeyman) to support the MODES III program supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). In this role, the selected candidate will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate the program deliverables (websites, applications, APIs, and platform services), ensuring quality for production releases and supporting CI/CD pipelines. This position is remote and requires an active Secret clearance. JOB DESCRIPTION - Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate MODES III deliverables (websites, applications, APIs, and platform services), ensuring quality for production releases and supporting CI/CD pipelines. - Develop and execute automated functional, integration, regression, and API tests (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, pytest, JUnit, Postman/Newman) to verify application behavior, performance, and security controls prior to production promotion. - Implement accessibility and Section 508/WCAG automated checks and remediation workflows; produce accessibility test reports and work with developers to close issues before release. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/CodeBuild/GitLab CI/CodePipeline) and ensure test runs are part of pipeline gates (unit, integration, SAST/DAST hooks) to support DevSecOps and RMF/ATO readiness. - Build and maintain test data pipelines and synthetic telemetry for realistic test scenarios; coordinate with Data Engineers and DBAs to provision test environments and mask/handle CUI/PII appropriately. - Define Test Plans, Test Cases, and Acceptance Criteria aligned with user stories and DoD requirements; convert requirements into automated, reproducible test artifacts and link results to program task tracking and dashboard reporting. - Execute performance and load tests (JMeter, Gatling, Locust) to validate web health goals (page load, uptime, concurrency) and produce findings for platform optimization and capacity planning. - Triage defects with developers and participate in incident response for test found issues; document defects, verify fixes, and track closure in ticketing systems; feed quality metrics into weekly/monthly status reports and MODES III dashboards. - Maintain and evolve automated test frameworks, test harnesses, and test orchestration tooling; mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices and secure testing approaches. - Familiar with: Test architecture & strategy, Selenium/Grid, Appium, Espresso, JUnit/TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, API testing (Postman/Newman, REST-assured), performance testing (JMeter/Gatling), CI integration (Jenkins/GitLab CI), test data management, test automation frameworks (Page Object, BDD/Cucumber), security testing integration (SAST/DAST), test environment orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), test reporting (Allure, Hygieia), mocking/stubbing (WireMock), service virtualization. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Active Secret clearance required. - Experience / Education: 5 years relevant experience with BS/BA degree or 3 years with MS/MA or 1 year with Phd or 9 years w/o a degree or 7 years with AS/AA - Certifications: This role requires a demonstration of capability within the Cyberspace IT workforce. Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Overview This position is responsible for creating all medical schedules, confirming patient visits, and reviewing schedules with facilities for multiple locations. • Supplier onboarding • Support the supplier onboarding process, selection and approval in cooperation with Sourcing teams by performing technical evaluations of the special processes listed above and assessing suppliers’ capabilities and competencies (engineering, manufacturing, workforce, EHS, etc.). • Evaluate suppliers’ Quality Management System (QMS) and manufacturing process compliance through in-depth, process-focused audits. • Record and track action plans and manage supplier approvals in the supplier database. • Perform SWOT analyses to prepare the First Piece Qualification (FPQ) process with an appropriate qualification plan and Inspection Test Plan (ITP). • Implement the first article/product qualification process • Lead and execute first-article qualification programs with suppliers as a subject-matter expert during design reviews, MPP reviews, manufacturing milestones and functional tests (where applicable), as well as during the Final Acceptance Test. • Manage suppliers’ product qualification plans in line with business and product requirements. • Approve the qualification plan, the MPP and the ITP. • Ensure suppliers have the necessary design, manufacturing and control processes to deliver products compliant with GE Power Conversion & Storage requirements. • Train and support suppliers on company processes and tools, and ensure correct application. • Monitor and control the steps leading to supplier product qualification and act as the supplier’s preferred interface in this process. • Ensure product and process conformity, notably by ensuring correct implementation of the control plan. • Approve supplier product qualifications to enable release of the qualified part and authorize ordering of similar parts. • Monitor supplier quality performance • Conduct surveillance audits (product, manufacturing process, quality per ISO 9001, regulatory and ethical requirements (SRG), etc.) to ensure suppliers continuously maintain effective process controls, rigorous product validation methods, and adherence to parameters used during qualifications. • Manage supplier deviation requests. • Manage non-conformities at the supplier or customer site (ensure supplier responsibility, oversee the control plan, drive defect correction, root cause analysis and deployment of associated corrective and preventive actions). • Drive continuous improvement of suppliers’ product quality performance.
