Senior ServiceNow Developer

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia

• Design and Development of the complex IT systems/applications • Primary focus on Development in Request Fulfilment / Catalog Items • Analysis of the requirements and communication with internal stakeholders • Use agreed programing language or tools to develop automation solutions • Development according to Agile methodology – SCRUM / Agile Development experiences • Creation of technical documentation • Creative approach within complex solution and technology used • Active participation on research & development projects • Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts on implementation and testing of the developed solution • Mentor junior developers and participate on onboarding procedure

Job Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, especially in building custom apps
  • Experience in implementing requirements in ServiceNow: configuration, scripting, and development of solutions
  • Confidence in using Service Portal, Catalog Items, and Self-Service Applications
  • Experience with data migrations, CMDB data modeling, and ServiceNow Foundation Data
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (ideally ITIL v4) and mapping them to ServiceNow
  • Know-how in JavaScript with ServiceNow-Context (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflows)
  • Safe to use ServiceNow configuration and development tools
  • Experience with update sets, scoped apps, and version control
  • Understanding of security concepts (roles, ACLs, data access models)
  • Experience with automations (flows, workflows, integrations)
  • Structured and reliable way of working with high quality standards
  • Ability to quickly understand technical requirements and implement them in ServiceNow
  • Independent work in the development team and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in agile projects (Scrum) is an advantage
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (MUST HAVE)
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications are beneficial (optional)
  • ITSM ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITSM)
  • 3+ years Project Experience
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German (nice to have)
  • English (must)
