MTSI is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Engineer Lead to join our Systems Engineering Integration Team in support of the Space-Based Interceptor (SBI) program. As a Mission Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in designing, integrating, and optimizing mission concepts for this cutting-edge defense program. - Mission Analysis & Design: Develop operational concepts (CONOPS), support flight trajectory analysis, and assess SBI deployments within a complex missile defense architecture. - Systems Integration: Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate SBI capabilities into the overall MDS system, delivering mission planning solutions that align with customer goals and performance requirements. - Requirements Development: Define, manage, and validate technical and operational requirements for the SBI system, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and program timelines. - Modeling and Simulation: Employ advanced modeling tools and simulation frameworks to assess interceptor performance, satellite trajectories, engagement effectiveness, and risk factors. - Technical Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to communicate mission engineering strategies with stakeholders, including government agencies, subcontractors, and internal leadership. - Risk Assessment: Analyze potential performance, operational, and integration risks, delivering actionable insights along with mitigation solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's with 20+ years' related experience in mission engineering, systems integration, or related roles, within DoD programs. - Proficiency in analyzing space-based systems, missile defense technologies, and engagement scenarios. - Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., MBSE, requirements development, interface design). - Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, STK (Systems Tool Kit), or similar. Required Clearance: - Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility - 5 years’ prior experience for access to Special Access Program Information (SAP), or Controlled Access Program (CAP); must have 1 year in the last 5 years. #LI-AT1
