Job Title: ServiceNow Developer IV Job Summary: The ServiceNow Applications Developer will perform development activities working with a ServiceNow environment throughout the entire software life cycle, from functional requirements through testing, post-production and maintenance in primarily an agile development environment. Proof of US citizenship is required for this opportunity. This role can be hybrid or remote. Duties/Responsibilities: • Front-end and mid-tier focus along with server-side development in combination of new builds and legacy applications • Develop application requiring in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries (React, AngularJS, etc.), and use of Node.js • Perform server-side development using JavaScript, • Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, and other relevant technologies. • Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications. • Implement user interfaces using good usability and user experience practices • Utilize external APIs for data access and front-end display o Geospatial experience learning/using the ESRI JavaScript API both for building the mapper and bringing in data. Typically done using a Python script to parse a JSON file from an ESRI API call. • Experience with data migrations/ETL desired • Participate in requirements definition to ensure development team has all necessary information • Participate in an Agile project team (and help provide input on planning) • Support multiple project/clients’ needs as needed to stay aware of team needs, upcoming schedules, long-term support and new build processes in support of our federal, state government and commercial clients • Suggest and explore new tools to improve processes • Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: • Must work well in a team environment and be flexible as workloads and priorities change • Must be an experienced, self-motivated software developer capable of working remotely, able to define and solve problems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
