About the role: The successful candidate will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Managers, focused on driving revenue growth within the existing customer base while maintaining high retention. The role combines strategic leadership with operational rigour and a hands-on approach to unlocking upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the portfolio. You will bring strong SaaS leadership experience and a passion for customer value, enabling your team to identify and deliver expansion opportunities that create meaningful business impact. Working closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Pre-Sales, you will drive a collaborative, customer-centric approach to account growth while ensuring a first-class client experience. As a key member of the Learning Pool commercial leadership team, you will play a central role in delivering ambitious growth targets over the next 3 to 5 years. Location: Remote UK What You Will Be Doing Roles and responsibilities include: Team Leadership & Development - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Account Executives to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through upsell and cross-sell activities. - Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Provide regular coaching, deal reviews, and feedback to support individual and team success. - Identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans to elevate team performance. Account Growth Strategy - Define and execute a clear strategy for growing revenue across the existing customer base. - Partner with Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities aligned to customer outcomes and lifecycle stages. - Ensure a structured, proactive approach to account planning, including stakeholder mapping and growth initiatives. - Drive adoption of best practices in value-based selling and account expansion methodologies. Opportunity Management - Support the team in managing complex upsell and cross-sell opportunities from identification through to close. - Ensure a methodical approach to opportunity progression (e.g. MEDDICC, Value Selling), maintaining rigour and consistency. - Guide the team in building strong business cases, engaging multiple stakeholders, and unlocking additional budget. - Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility through effective use of CRM systems. Performance & Operations - Own and deliver against team revenue targets, including forecasting, reporting, and pipeline health. - Establish a strong operating rhythm with clear KPIs, metrics, and performance tracking. - Continuously refine processes and playbooks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
