Job Summary Red Hat is seeking a customer focused technology professional to be a Delivery Executive for critical growth Teleco customers. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, accountable for their success with our products and solutions and maximizing the value realized from Red Hat product subscriptions. You will be critical to the long term success of Red Hat's subscription based business model and will be responsible for the delivery of customer outcomes measured by customer satisfaction, renewals and incremental sales. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide project and software portfolio management on both complex customer-led projects and projects driven by Red Hat Services. For some customers, you will work closely with a strategic partner to ensure there is an established stakeholder management plan, alignment on goals/key initiatives and collaboration on migration plans to Red Hat infrastructure solutions for the post sales lifecycle. You must have excellent communication and execution skills, be detail oriented and have substantial experience managing IT and software consulting projects, relying on traditional systems and software development methodologies. Your ultimate goal will be to cultivate strong customer relationships and boost business value realization for your customer’s investments in Red Hat. What You Will Do Customer Relationship & Strategic Advisory As the Telco Delivery Executive (TDE) you will serve as the global post-sales single point of contact and trusted advisor, managing product deployment and their lifecycle within their supportability stages. You will lead executive meetings (including quarterly business reviews) and advocate internally (BUs, engineering) for customer issues, critical situations, RFEs, support exceptions, or ). Delivery & Portfolio Management As the TDE you will oversee and help mitigate project risks (RAID) liaising with PMs, participate in key milestones from kickoff to successful Day 2 handover and operations, and act as an agile lead, liaising with Product Owners and driving process and service improvements. Business & Operational Performance As the TDE you will be accountable for closed loop on the NPS scores and remediation paths, drive long-term adoption and consumption of subscription resources, resolve escalations (from customers/sales), manage customer profitability, and oversee key renewals. Ecosystem Management You will oversee engagements with the key partner(s) of your customer, develop migration plans from partner-embedded to Red Hat direct solutions, and create joint success plans and governance (including KPIs) for partner-involved projects. Sales & Lifecycle Support You will participate in the presales activities (i.e. responses to RFPs, PoCs) and drive the post-sales lifecycle with customers and their partners, validating solution maturity and help define supportability matrix migration plans. What You Will Bring - Proven telco experience, preferable in mobile networks and cloud infrastructure. Experience with telecommunications networking, IT technical components and software development. - Understanding of NFV/SDN as well as mobile networking (5G, 4G, 3G, 2G), RAN and fixed networks (network architectures, service models, service provisioning). - Proven experience in software project and portfolio management, with project scope development, managing expectations and risk/issue mitigation - Strong understanding of program management and leadership experience with project managers. - Experience leading diverse teams, formally or informally, from a variety of disciplines including engineering, product management, project management, customer support and service delivery. - Strong experience in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, service quality and governance/compliance. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of an organization. - Proven ability to implement operational metrics and translate to process improvement initiatives. - Demonstrated passion for open source software and a commitment to diversity. - Travel, as needed, to meet the requirements of the role in alignment with business / customer needs, attending onsite business reviews and key events (20%).
