The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Website Administrator II oversees all aspects of the website, from change coordination and control, development, website security, and governance. The Website Administrator II will be the central coordinator for all website input and will work with other team members to create and implement website content types, design, and architecture that meets business objectives and user needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the comprehensive management of the WWP website to include any changes and development. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate priorities, and plan additions and changes to the website. Ensure effective communication and alignment of goals to meet business objectives. - Design and plan technical solutions that align with business requirements. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to optimize the website’s functionality and user experience. - Oversee the Umbraco CMS platform and other content management systems (CMS). Ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and customization of the CMS solutions to meet WWP’s specific needs. - Monitor WWP web-based systems for availability, uptime, and performance. - Ensure that websites are optimized for performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and accessibility. - Review and execute ongoing web support requests and respond to the administrative needs of users. - Process daily requests for changes and adhere to the WWP’s Change Control Process. - Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity. - Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. Gather functional and technical requirements for web projects to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. - Define website objectives by analyzing user requirements and system features and functionality. - Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes relating to WWP websites. Support users to develop documentation and assistance tools. - Compare advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives and work with leadership to identify system solutions. Leverage comprehensive understanding of website products and platforms to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations for solutions and enhancements customized to WWP’s business needs. - Work with the IT trainer to develop and update training plans, materials, and documentation for users. Coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions. - Develop a trusted advisor relationship with business partners, key stakeholders, and executive sponsors to closely align website activities with the business strategy and realize the full potential of their web solution. - Maintain current job knowledge; research new web technologies and software products, read professional publications, and participate in educational opportunities and with professional organizations as appropriate. - Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles. - Other related duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE Requirements - Five years of website administration, website development or implementation of websites. - Three years of experience developing professional websites using .NET framework. - Three years of experience working with a CMS. - Two years of experience working with SQL. - Experience working with REST APIs and testing tools such as Postman. Preferences - Three years of experience working with software and hardware vendors. - One year of experience with Salesforce integrations and Azure website hosting. - Experience with content delivery networks (CDNs). - Experience with Umbraco CMS and Umbraco Forms. - Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., screen readers) and WCAG standards.
