Senior Engineering Manager

• Lead and develop a team of engineers working across borrower-facing flows, backend services, and platform capabilities that increase eligibility and reduce friction. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps, shape requirements, and deliver solutions that balance growth, customer experience, and risk. • Drive execution on cross-functional initiatives that expand access to auto-secured lending and enable new product capabilities. • Improve the speed, quality, and reliability of delivery by setting clear priorities, raising engineering standards, and building healthy execution mechanisms. • Use data to identify funnel bottlenecks, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide investments that improve conversion, automation, and operational efficiency. • Coach engineers and technical leaders, grow team capability over time, and build an inclusive team culture grounded in ownership and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production software systems, including distributed systems or cloud-based applications.
- 3+ years of experience managing software engineers.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives from planning through production launch.
- Experience working on customer-facing products with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience partnering with product, design, and non-engineering stakeholders to deliver solutions in a fast-moving environment.
