• Serve as the primary client contact and commissioning authority on assigned projects • Lead commissioning strategy for complex and multi‑system projects from pursuit through warranty • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and technical credibility • Proactively identify and resolve project risks, scope gaps, and technical issues • Develop commissioning scopes of work, schedules, and fee estimates for proposals and active projects • Lead design phase reviews including OPR, BOD, plans, and specifications to ensure commissionability and performance alignment • Facilitate OPR workshops and commissioning planning meetings as required • Oversee development of commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation • Perform and/or oversee site observations, system testing, and issue resolution • Lead commissioning meetings and ensure accurate documentation and follow‑through • Maintain accountability for project budgets, schedules, and deliverables • Collaborate with Project Accountants to support accurate invoicing, forecasting, and financial performance • Partner with the Cx Project Coordinator to maintain project plans and resource alignment in Vision • Ensure project execution aligns with contract scope, safety requirements, and internal quality standards • Provide technical guidance and quality oversight for commissioning staff • Mentor and support the development of junior and mid‑level commissioning providers • Lead development of commissioning reports and systems manuals • Facilitate warranty walkthroughs and ensure documentation is updated accordingly

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12–14 years of progressive experience in commissioning, MEP construction, or project management OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex commissioning projects independently
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Building Commissioning certification preferred
  • OSHA 10‑hour Construction Safety and NFPA‑70E preferred
