The Opportunity This Cloud Engineer will lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of containerized infrastructure and pipelines across AWS (primary) and AKS (secondary), with hands-on ownership of Kubernetes operations and platform engineering. They will drive maturity in IaC-first, no-clickops culture. Key responsibilities - Build/operate EKS (or AKS): cluster provisioning, node groups, upgrades, add-ons (CNI, CSI), autoscaling, RBAC, network policies. - Ship software via CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins): pipelines, artifacts, environments, Helm/Kustomize releases, ArgoCD deployments; - Define infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation; Ansible for config) and keep plans clean/drift-free. - Observability: CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana; SLOs, alerts, runbooks, incident response. - Security & compliance: secrets management, IAM roles for service accounts, image scanning, policies, change controls. - Partner with app teams; troubleshoot across app, container, network, and infra layers.

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our cloud team for the summer. The intern will focus on enhancing observability in our cloud environments using Datadog and OpenTelemetry, and developing customer portals to streamline onboarding processes. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies and the chance to contribute to impactful projects. Responsibilities: - Assist in expanding our current Datadog implementation to include customer dashboards. - Develop and enhance customer portals to facilitate faster and more efficient onboarding. - Collaborate with team members to identify and implement best practices for cloud monitoring and customer experience. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of our cloud infrastructure. - Document processes and provide training materials for internal and external users. The Opportunity Our Cloud Release Engineer leads the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions across our client portfolio. They are responsible for developing specifications, implementing and maintaining cloud network security architecture for systems applications, performing and managing network design upgrades and hardware reconfigurations in a hybrid environment, diagnosing and resolving routing and interconnectivity issues as well as ensuring the availability, reliability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems that support the AWS Cloud and hosted applications. Job Duties: - Activities include designing, developing, installing, and maintaining software solutions that provide efficiency in Cloud Operations. - Work with engineering teams to refine deployment and release processes. - Collaborate with the engineering team on projects as the expert on reliability, performance, and efficiency. - Assist product engineers in development and deployment of backend applications. - Be prepared to explain your work, decisions, and ideas to your colleagues. - Participate in 24x7 operational support and on-call rotation shifts. - Ensure that all system design and procedures are documented and up-to-date. - Combine existing documentation where available, and create it where needed, to create a centralized body of knowledge for all team members to utilize. About the Role: The Cloud Specialist Team enhances CrowdStrike’s ability to grow, position, sell, and maintain cloud security business across all geographic sales theaters. Cloud Specialist's will work with and across CrowdStrike regional sales, sales engineering, marketing, product development, and services organizations to execute cloud security sales playbooks, directly engage customers around CrowdStrike cloud security capabilities, and help customers operationalize and consume cloud security products.
