What You Need To Bring AI/ML Networking Expertise: Solid experience designing networks for AI clusters, with working knowledge of lossless Ethernet, congestion control algorithms (PFC, ECN), and load-balancing techniques specific to AI traffic patterns. Edge & Distributed Compute Knowledge: Familiarity with MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) and its intersection with AI inferencing models and 5G transport. Advanced Network Design: 12+ years of experience in Network Infrastructure Design, with at least 2-3 years focused on Hyperscale Datacenter or Cloud-Scale SP architectures. Minimum Qualifications 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Cloud and Networking Infrastructure, routing, and switching domains, with hands-on knowledge in several of the following: - Designing large-scale IP/MPLS based Access, Metro, Edge, and Core networks including MPLS Traffic Engineering - Designing Datacenter IP Fabrics, EVPN/VXLAN Fabrics, and DCI solutions with awareness of AI/ML workload requirements - SDN environments including Overlay protocols (MP-BGP, EVPN) and tunneling (VXLAN, MPLS, SR/SRv6) - Merchant Silicon familiarity, including Trident, Tomahawk, and Jericho technologies - Virtualization and Compute experience including DPDK, SR-IOV, and SmartNICs - Open Networking exposure including white box hardware and software such as SONiC or Cumulus Education: Bachelor's degree in technology or related field, or equivalent technical qualifications.
