The Account Manager is responsible for the relationship of the customer account in the assigned market. The role will ensure assured supply of all products into the market including delivery of products for promotional activities as well as new product development and trials, manage day to day cross category delivery teams in line with local market expectations, responsible for the tactical execution of the Packaging Strategy within the local market while ensuring alignment within the regional Category Strategy. In addition, the role will also identify customer growth opportunities and implement regional category plans that support the local markets. RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage and co-ordinate the supply of all packaging items into the country and that all project timelines are met.• Manage and ensure effective execution of supply requirements. This will include direct involvement in meetings with key operational stakeholders.• Ensure together with quality and product development team that all products are fit for purpose and meet all regulatory, health and safety specification requirements.• Maintain the Product Strategy for the country and ensure that local strategy is aligned with that of the regional office.• Support all product development activities through collaboration and working with the product development team in the regional office and local office.• Seek to understand customer expectations and requirements and to meet or exceed these requirements in the delivery of packaging services.• Seek to add value by understanding and anticipating customers/consumers' requirements by improving the food relevance of packaging.• Conduct weekly Work-In-Progress meetings with key suppliers to co-ordinate supplier activities and alignment with the key customer' requirements.• Ensure adequate links and communications are maintained with the Distribution Centers.• Support the regional Strategic Procurement team in reporting on and understanding supplier capabilities within the country.• Maintain and ensure accuracy of local market databases.• Maintain register of local market activities for Quarterly invoicing.• Manage artwork flow for the customer to ensure market compliance to Zone and Global regulations. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce or similar - Qualification in Business or Supply Chain management preferred - Knowledge of packaging and packaging materials - Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing within packaging industry - Production planning experience - Excellent written and oral communication in the English language - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

In this role, you will work towards a quota within a defined territory, calling named clients, the Inside Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals by working with existing customers currently leveraging our legacy platforms. Driving conversations through proactive account engagement efforts as well as responding to inbound customer requests. Determine platform compatibility by matching agency profiles and business needs to capabilities of one of our modern, digital platforms. The Associate Account Manager will be compensated in part by base and variable pay as defined in the Compensation Plan distributed annually.
