• Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded analyte measurement, signal processing and fault detection algorithms. • Responsible for improving upon Dexcom’s current Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) platform. • Drive the design, development, and implementation of novel continuous sensing products expanding Dexcom’s portfolio. • Gain and maintain organizational alignment around a long-term enabling technology roadmap. • Manage, mentor a team of scientists and engineers on product design and development.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with 17+ years of industry experience.
- 13+ years of years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams focused on end-to-end lifecycle of product development.
- Industry-leading expertise in methods of statistical estimation, joint probabilities, and modeling.
- Experience with design and clinical testing of medical devices preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology development and influence commercial product strategy.
- Track record of successful development and commercialization of sensing and measurement systems preferred.

By combining electronic data exchange and banking functions, Optum Pay helps streamline payer workflows, reduce operational costs, and strengthen provider relationships. The Optum Pay Implementation Team is responsible for onboarding payers onto the Optum Pay processing platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting scalable technical solutions that enable efficient and reliable onboarding of payers and sub payers. This role is responsible for configuring required inputs, validating inbound and outbound files, processing transactions, transmitting required documentation to banking partners, and returning acknowledgements to payers. The position applies independent judgment on complex technical assignments, collaborates closely with product, implementation, and quality teams, and leverages Optum approved engineering practices and tools, including GitHub, GitHub Copilot for code review support, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD based deployments, to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure payment processing capabilities. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
