Job Description: Senior Contracts & Budgets Specialist The Senior Contracts & Budgets Specialist is responsible for undertaking activities to provide specialized service to the Global Clinical Operations study team as well as other departments, as required, in the planning, execution and management of clinical trial contracts, budgets and site payments Make an Impact at Veristat! What we offer: The estimated hiring range for this role is $84K to 110K plus applicable bonus. This hiring range is specific to the USA and will vary for other regions based upon local market data. Final salary is ultimately decided upon taking into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: skills and experience, licensure and certifications, education, specific location and dynamic market data. - Benefits vary by location and may include: - Remote working - Flexible time off - Paid holidays - Medical insurance - Tuition reimbursement - Retirement plans What we look for: • Bachelor’s degree required; scientific discipline or related field preferred • 4-7 years of experience with clinical trial site contracts and budget development and negotiation in a clinical research setting required • Thorough knowledge of clinical operations, the clinical development process, and ICH/GCP and regulatory environment • Ability to understand clinical trial protocols and translate into practical application when evaluating site budgets and specific needs by study • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (other languages a plus) with strong attention to detail required, to effectively support and manage exchanges with external customers • Willing and able to work well in a matrixed environment, across departments, across levels, amongst competing priorities and multiple stakeholders (both internally and externally) • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts in a fast-paced office environment • Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required • Proficient in clinical systems including EDC, eTMF and other project management tools an asset • Ability to self-motivate, be a flexible team player, and work independently Automated Decision Making: All applicants are reviewed by a member of the Veristat Talent Acquisition team; Veristat does not utilize an automated decision-making process. #LI-SI1 Veristat is an equal opportunity employer.
