• Schedule patient appointments • Reschedule patient appointments • Direct calls to appropriate employee’s extension • Create telephone encounters • Take hospital calls and alert on-call physicians of consult/callback requests • Faxing referrals, imaging scripts, progress notes etc. • Answer questions from patients and provide appropriate switch boarding to get them the answers they need.
