Principal Solution Architect, Healthcare
Raintree Systems
• Perform Technical Lead responsibilities for Application Architecture function for best practices & architecture initiatives. • Perform Architect duties for Scheduler product: Partner with Product Management for Scheduler function to intake product requirements and design end-to-end technical solutions that align with Raintree’s platform vision and enterprise architecture. • Refactor NewGen platform to help accelerate developer velocity, maintainability, lower operating costs, enhanced security, increased performance and scalability. • Lead automation and engineering initiatives to operationalize and streamline enterprise readiness of the Newgen Platform. • Ensure interoperability: Architect and implement healthcare data exchange using HL7, FHIR, CCD, and related standards, ensuring compliance and data integrity. • Design robust data sync mechanisms: Define data synchronization, replication, and consistency models across multi-tenant, distributed, and hybrid environments. • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with leaders across Architecture, Agile Delivery, Cloud Infrastructure, and Security to ensure solutions meet business, technical, and compliance requirements. • Technical leadership: Provide execution strategy, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. • Assist & Enable Raintree development team’s move to Agentic AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). • Operate with urgency: Drive results in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment where speed and quality must co-exist.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a Principal Engineer or Architect role.
- Proven success in platform modernization and re-architecting monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, EDI, etc.) and integration/interoperability frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing data synchronization and replication strategies across distributed systems.
- Technical depth AWS platform in Serverless, GraphQL & RESTful APIs, eventing & messaging architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated ability to balance long-term architectural goals with short-term product delivery needs.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrably passionate about quality, data-driven, execution-minded & oriented towards outcomes rather than output.

The SA will be the primary driver for identifying, scoping, and creating solutions/proposals that encompass technical approach, estimates, Implementation, team structure, pricing and contracts. The SA will bring thought leadership, current industry know-how and applied solutions to improve existing service capabilities, engagement and delivery challenges and any research and development activities.
