Role Description The Director, Channel & Pricing Strategy, Advanced Platforms will lead strategic initiatives to optimize pricing, contracting, and channel access for high-impact products representing a significant portion of U.S. revenue. This role combines analytical rigor, commercial insight, and cross-functional collaboration to develop Gross and Net pricing strategies, implement account-specific programs, and support revenue growth. - Develop portfolio-level pricing, contracting, and channel strategies that align with business objectives and support customer needs. - Lead account-specific pricing programs, negotiating contracts and implementing outcomes-based strategies for high-value brands. - Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Trade, Marketing, and Market Access to ensure cohesive strategy execution. - Conduct market, competitor, and stakeholder analyses to inform pricing decisions and optimize patient access. - Evaluate the financial impact of contracting and pricing initiatives, providing recommendations to senior leadership. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies while supporting team adherence. - Drive continuous improvement of pricing workflows and strategic processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, Market Access, pharmacy, consulting, or payer environments. - Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare economics, pharmaceutical demand drivers, and pricing and reimbursement dynamics. - Extensive experience with healthcare contracting, including PBM, regional/national health plans, Medicare Part B and D. - Proven ability to navigate complex customer relationships and influence executive stakeholders. - Deep knowledge of patient access, launch excellence, and business processes within pharmaceutical markets. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with strategic and customer-focused mindset. - People leadership experience is desirable; experience in rare disease, high-cost specialty, or advanced therapy products is a plus.
