Senior Technical Project Manager

• Project Planning: Collaborate with product management, engineering, quality and regulatory assurance • Drives project planning, WBS, estimation, resources, scheduling, timelines, risks • Create and maintain the technical project release plan • Primary owner of project plan initiation through post implementation • Act as a scrum master for sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups • Facilitate and participate in technical discussions within technical engineers

Job Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering or related technical field required
  • Master’s degree, M.B.A. or P.M.P. certification a strong plus
  • 4+ years’ experience leading development projects
  • 8+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment
  • Strong project management skills including budgeting, planning, tracking
  • Deep familiarity with highly technical product development teams
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Visio.

Role Description The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex clinical trial technology implementations for life sciences customers. Qualifications - 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise software or technical implementations. - Experience working in Professional Services or customer-facing delivery organizations. - Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and clinical data workflows. - Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects with external customers. - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. - Travel may be required on occasion (< 5%).
