Title: Associate, Credit Solutions Baltimore, MD, USA• Annapolis, MD, USA• Chicago, IL, USA• New York, NY, USA Job Description: Summary Opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial real estate investment team launching its inaugural private credit fund. The role offers hands-on exposure across the full investment cycle, including sourcing, underwriting and asset management, all while helping shape the platform's strategy, processes, and growth from the ground up. The candidate will work directly with senior leadership, gaining meaningful responsibility early on and contributing to the buildout of a scalable private credit platform targeting institutional-quality real estate debt investments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities Supporting the investment due diligence process Creating and maintaining complex financial models (i.e., Argus and Excel) Creating internal and external meeting materials, including Investment Committee presentations, investor reports, and marketing collateral Comprehensive portfolio management: monitor ongoing loan performance, borrower reporting, and covenant compliance, update asset models and valuations based on performance and market shifts, identify potential credit issues and support workout or restructuring efforts if required Liaising with limited partners Coordination of deal closings Researching new investment strategies and supporting the raising of private equity funds Competencies Accountability Character, Trust, Integrity Planning, Decision-Making & Initiative Development & Learning Collaboration, Communication & Teamwork Qualifications 2-4 years of relevant industry experience BA/BS Degree, majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Real Estate preferred Strong working knowledge of real estate, leveraged loans, debt funds, industrial real estate and private equity Strong financial modeling and analytical skills including an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts concisely Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Positive attitude and a very strong work ethic Attention to detail, highly organized and proactive Ability to learn quickly, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and a passion for real estate and investing Work Environment The position will work in a general office setting although hybrid remote work arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Position may require travel, up to 30% of time annually, to remote office locations based on organizational/business needs. Physical DemandsMust be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the workday, sitting at a desk, consistently operating a computer. The person in this position must be able to access file cabinets and office machinery (to include a computer, copier, and fax machine). On occasion, may need to lift boxes of up to 10 lbs.
