This includes ensuring that we are utilizing standard processes for all regions/countries that are on Oracle Fusion. Directly reporting to the role will be the Accounts Payable lead for North America Accounts Payable. The position also plays a key role in driving continuous improvement in the wider P2P process globally and partnering with other functions to do so. In this role, a typical day will look like: - Own and control the Global Accounts Payable process ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements - Develop and maintain global AP policies, procedures and controls to drive standardization and best practices - Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure seamless process execution. - Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging automation and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy - Own and monitor KPI’s and SLAs for AP processes globally, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions - Act as a subject matter expert for AP during audits, system implementations and organizational change projects - Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement and IT to ensure integrated and optimized processes - Own and control the Global Accounts Payable process ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements - Develop and maintain global AP policies, procedures and controls to drive standardization and best practices - Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure seamless process execution. - Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging automation and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy - Own and monitor KPI’s and SLAs for AP processes globally, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions - Act as a subject matter expert for AP during audits, system implementations and organizational change projects - Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement and IT to ensure integrated and optimized processes The essential requirements of the job include: - Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance - 15+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and P2P, preferably in a large manufacturing/industrial company. - Demonstrated ability to standardize global processes and to lead process transformation and automation initiatives - Strong knowledge of AP controls, SOX and audit requirements - Experience in global, matrix organization a plus with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse geographies - Analytical/problem solving: Excellent organizational, consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Detail Oriented. - Self-Management and Results-Oriented: Strong leadership/management skills with the ability to influence others. - Prior use and implementation of Oracle Fusion would be an advantage - Ability to travel 25% of the time Relationships and Influence: - Develop, coach, manage rewards, set objectives, prepare, and influence performance reviews for AP teams globally. - Fosters an inclusive workplace. The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year.
