DIRECTOR – HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS & ANALYTICS (REMOTE) ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Director of Healthcare Informatics & Analytics! This position is 100% remote (Eastern Time business hours). JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY STATEMENT This role serves as a Director-level leader for Healthcare Informatics and Analytics, responsible for defining and executing enterprise analytics strategy, leading informatics teams, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position blends strategic leadership, healthcare domain expertise, and advanced analytics knowledge to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and support organizational growth. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities may be supplemented as needed. Design / Develop (50%) - Define and execute the enterprise analytics strategy aligned with organizational and healthcare business goals. - Identify opportunities where data analytics can drive business performance, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. - Partner with IT leadership to design and implement data architecture, data platforms, and analytics infrastructure. - Establish and standardize KPI frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting models across business units. - Lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions supporting Medicare, claims, and operational data. - Translate executive business needs into scalable analytics initiatives and actionable insights. - Build the analytic foundation and roadmap to support long-term competitive advantage. Analyze / Consult / Coach (40%) - Lead and mentor Informatics Leads, Analysts, and Data Teams, ensuring high performance and adoption of best practices. - Partner with business and operational leadership to translate complex data into actionable business insights. - Drive adoption of data-driven decision making across departments and leadership teams. - Provide strategic guidance on data governance, data quality, and analytics standards. - Coach teams on analytics tools, methodologies, and performance optimization. - Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and analytics teams. Other Responsibilities (10%) - Develop and present executive-level dashboards, insights, and strategic recommendations. - Build strong relationships across IT, operations, and executive leadership. - Evaluate and implement analytics tools, platforms, and third-party solutions. - Ensure timely delivery of analytics outputs aligned with business expectations. - Stay current with industry trends, healthcare analytics advancements, and emerging technologies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or similar) - Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Analytics, Public Health, Data Science, Biostatistics, or Business Analytics - 7+ years of experience in data analytics/informatics, including - 5+ years in leadership, team management, or project leadership roles - Strong healthcare domain experience including: - Claims data, Medicare programs, revenue cycle, utilization analytics, population health - Advanced knowledge of: - SQL, data warehousing, ETL pipelines, data governance, data quality frameworks - Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker - Strong understanding of KPI development, metrics design, and performance analytics - Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, enterprise environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MBA or advanced degree in Analytics, Healthcare, or related field - Strong understanding of Medicare and CMS programs - Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling - Hands-on exposure to modern data platforms such as: - Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse - Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP - Familiarity with: - MLOps, model deployment, and analytics automation frameworks - Exposure to AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI use cases in healthcare analytics ARC Group is a Forbes-ranked top 20 recruiting and executive search firm working with clients nationwide to recruit the highest quality technical resources.
