Sales Engineer – Enterprise Security (Cloud, Cryptography, Confidential Computing) At Fortanix, we’re redefining how the world secures data—in use, in motion, and at rest. We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who doesn’t just support deals—but drives them. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll partner closely with Sales while also influencing Product, Engineering, and Customer Success—and directly shape how customers adopt cutting-edge security technologies. Job Requirements
- What You Bring
- 5+ years as a Sales Engineer in enterprise security, infrastructure, or cloud
- Proven experience supporting complex enterprise deals ($1M+)
- Strong hands-on technical ability (you can actually do, not just talk)
- Experience with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Security & Crypto Depth (you don’t need all, but you should have strong exposure):
- HSMs and crypto interfaces (PKCS#11, CAPI, CNG, JCE)
- KMS systems (KMIP, REST APIs)
- Cloud key management (AWS KMS/CloudHSM, Azure Key Vault, Google KMS, etc.)
- Real-world use cases (TDE, TLS, blockchain, secure manufacturing, etc.)
- You’re also someone who:
- Thrives in a roll-up-your-sleeves startup environment
- Communicates clearly with both engineers and executives
- Collaborates naturally across teams and with partners
- Brings energy, curiosity, and a strong ownership mindset
