Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Do you want to build experiences that accelerate innovation for startups and transform education worldwide? WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: - Work with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features. - Contribute to the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area with little oversight. - Create and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. - Contribute to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation. - Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems. - Remain current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with frameworks like TypeScript & React or similar, and building engaging user experiences - Experience with cloud engineering, devops in Azure, and Kubernetes - Experience with CosmosDB, Document Database schema design, or SQL WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER: Because we know how important our people are to the success of our clients, it’s a priority to make sure we stay committed to our employees and making Beyondsoft a great place to work.
