• Work with a team (cross-functional and cross-enterprise) of R & C and marketing professionals in conjunction with program management and engineering leads, to identify, influence, pursue and capture new business in the portfolio • Day to day activity includes responsibility for identifying, developing, forecasting, and capturing new opportunities and customers • Continually scans environment for business and strategic growth opportunities • Be a trusted source of information for new and upcoming guided weapon/UAS development activities • Develop and present compelling strategic and business growth opportunities that may include market and competitive analysis to senior internal stakeholders • Develops and maintains customer insight for early identification and shaping of customer requirements and our internal investment and strategies • Normally receives minimal supervision on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments • Travel up to 50% may be required
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience identifying and capturing new business involving guided weapons systems and/or UAS
- Experience with the development of concept of operations for guided/networked weapon systems and/or UAS
- Experience developing compelling strategic and business growth opportunities and briefing them to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Experience identifying solutions in a fast-paced environment where requirements are loosely defined.
