Field Application Engineer

Fortive

• Support local sales team and customers with application, technical and competitive information • Develop technical skills through training provided by product experts, self-learning on the job and liaising with factory-based technical support engineers • Provide sales support at shows, conferences, seminars and roadshows; be able to prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations • Develop and execute training programs for both online and classroom use • Provide pre- and post- technical support for Fluke Networks products to our field sales team, distribution channels and end users • Work with Fluke’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to record customer communications and track opportunities • Assist EMEA sales and marketing team with New Product Introductions (NPIs) • Work with EMEA team and Sales Program Manager developing ideas for regional marketing activities • Provide technical assistance to Inside Sales team

Job Requirements

  • Strong proven technical product and application knowledge in Data networks
  • Preferable knowledge of Network Test and Measurement products and Network protocols
  • Knowledge of and experience in Industrial Test and Measurement is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Swedish. Any additional language proficiency is a plus (preferably from Nordics and/or German)
  • Able to present and demonstrate measurement solutions to end users
  • Able to communicate and motivate via different media.
  • Understands the principles of sales and solutions selling.
  • Build relationship with key customers based on technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • A high level of independence and ability to “self educate”.
