What You’ll Do - Own Case Execution: Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and mediation statements with precision, enabling attorneys to focus on strategy. - Build Case Foundations: Create fact chronologies, deposition summaries, and witness profiles that form the strategic backbone of each case. - Conduct Targeted Research: Use Westlaw or Lexis to resolve procedural issues, delivering clear, actionable summaries to attorneys. - Engage Clients Thoughtfully: Lead fact-gathering calls with empathy, ensuring clients feel heard while maintaining professional boundaries. - Drive Momentum: Proactively spot delays or gaps in cases and escalate solutions to keep cases on track for swift resolution. - Leverage Systems: Use HubSpot, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 to track progress, maintain flawless records, and streamline workflows. What You Won’t Do - Perform routine admin tasks like filing or scheduling (handled by case managers). - Provide legal advice or case valuations to clients. - Wait for direction to identify and fix case bottlenecks.
