• The ability to resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload efficiently. • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in a case. • Review and evaluate case files to determine legal strategy. • Independently assess case value, including reviewing QME reports and conducting depositions if necessary. • The ability to calculate demands – Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Future Medical, etc. • Handle case negotiations and settlements. • Potential travel to assigned trial locations as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of legal Workers’ Compensation experience.
- Proven track record of the ability to meet or exceed settlement metric requirements.
- Strong knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.
- Expertise in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).
