• Lead the development and execution of long-range and annual International Supply Chain strategies across Connected Living businesses, including Insurance, Trade-In, Upgrade, and Disposition • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to International Supply Chain teams to meet inventory, turnaround time, quality, and cost goals aligned with organizational objectives and Annual Operating Plans • Deliver weekly updates to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders on financial performance, planning, and operational execution • Manage all global outsourced contract manufacturing and repair activities, including international suppliers and U.S. repair partners • Expand walk-in repair operations and partner with U.S. Service Delivery to implement best practices • Apply supply chain strategies that drive growth, operational impact, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment • Develop and implement processes, platforms, and standards for demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning to maximize asset value globally • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure transparent, compliant, and well-documented supply chain operations • Evaluate and approve key Supply Chain M&A opportunities related to repair, refurbishment, and device processing outside the U.S. • Partner with IT to define technology needs and deploy systems that optimize each stage of the supply chain; establish operational standards, improve planning, strengthen warehousing and inventory control, and support timely, compliant distribution • Support implementation of common IT platforms for production planning, procurement, and advancement of supply chain strategies and processes • Collaborate across departments to develop unified requirements, streamline business processes, and leverage supplier relationships and spend • Build tools and processes to improve data collection, flow, and analytics for informed decision-making at all levels • Oversee the evaluation, contracting, implementation, and ongoing management of warehousing, logistics, and distributed supply chain networks to ensure business and regulatory compliance • Lead development of supply chain guidelines, documentation, and training modules • Perform other duties as needed to support the success of Assurant Solutions

We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing Supply Chain to lead and execute supply chain strategy in support of our business objectives. In this role, you will manage and develop the manufacturing supply chain team, strengthen vendor and supplier relationships, and ensure supply chain activities align with client needs, corporate priorities, and manufacturing goals. This position plays a key role in vendor performance, supplier redundancy, quality management, logistics, and strategic purchasing. You will also represent the organization at supplier and industry events to build relationships and stay current on market trends and best practices. What You’ll Do • Execute manufacturing supply chain programs in alignment with business strategy and manufacturing leadership priorities • Lead, coach, and develop the manufacturing supply chain team to achieve individual, team, and company goals • Support staffing decisions for the manufacturing supply chain team • Partner with manufacturing leadership and the materials team to guide day-to-day planning and execution in support of supply chain strategy • Direct purchasing and supply chain strategy, including vendor selection and price negotiations • Collaborate with offer category and delivery leaders to ensure supply chain activities support client needs and timely deliverables • Work with the VP of Supply Chain to align manufacturing supply chain budget needs with the overall supply chain budget forecast • Monitor vendor and manufacturer spend and make recommendations that support organizational goals • Develop and execute supplier redundancy strategy and build strong supplier relationships • Evaluate vendor performance using scorecards and other tools; establish supplier quality accountability processes and drive corrective action as needed • Own and drive manufacturing logistics strategy and execution, including shipping of manufactured solutions • Attend supplier and industry conferences to identify potential suppliers and expand industry knowledge • Coordinate corporate resources needed to support manufacturing supply chain initiatives • Implement corporate programs, directives, and initiatives by adapting systems to meet both supply chain and corporate needs • Serve as a supply chain advocate throughout daily business operations • Communicate effectively with clients, customers, and internal support teams and adapt quickly to changing demands • Support additional strategic assignments and business ventures as assigned What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a closely related field • 5+ years of leadership experience within supply chain • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, customers, and internal teams • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams • Experience with strategic purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain operations • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business demands • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization Location & Travel: This position can be based out of either our Sioux Center, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, or Omaha, NE Offices or be remote.  Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. • Manage the end-to-end clinical supply chain for multiple clinical programs, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of investigational products, comparators, and ancillary supplies to support global clinical studies. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners to manage supply planning, inventory control, distribution, and logistics in compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. • Develop and implement clinical supply strategies to meet study timelines for complex programs that require multinational interactions by reviewing clinical trial synopsis’ and/or protocols to understand IMP supply and demand requirements. • Prepare demand forecast(s) using simulation and/or forecasting tools, ensuring changes in supply configuration, trial design, enrollment timeline, manufacturing availability, and regulatory requirements are considered. • Partner with Clinical Operations and other stakeholders to determine demand assumptions, such as number of patients and clinical sites, countries/regions, enrollment rates, etc. • Collaborate with manufacturing to develop drug product delivery schedules to meet demand. • Optimize supply chain operations to minimize waste and ensure availability of investigational medicinal products (IMP) and materials while maintaining a low risk profile. • Establish SOP’s and work instructions required to manage clinical supply. • Oversee the procurement, packaging, labeling, distribution, and return of clinical trial materials, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance. • Manage the label development process. • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced supply chain services, including distribution centers, packaging vendors, and courier services. • Develop IRT User Requirement Specifications and conduct User Acceptance Testing. • Conduct supply chain risk assessments, proactively identifying and mitigating potential disruptions to supply continuity. • Maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and traceability of all clinical materials. • Monitor inventory levels at depots and clinical sites through the life of a trial and coordinate resupply efforts to prevent stockouts or overages. • Ensure timely and compliant distribution of IMP to clinical trial sites globally, adhering to country-specific regulations and customs requirements. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) across all clinical supply chain activities. • Support regulatory inspections and audits by maintaining thorough documentation of supply chain activities. • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead and mentor one or more clinical supply chain professionals, providing direction, training, and development opportunities. • Serve as a key point of contact with multiple functional areas and act as a liaison between internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment on clinical supply chain goals and timelines. • Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive supply chain efficiencies and resolve challenges as they arise.
