• Independently coordinate all project-related activities during the planning phase • Manage procurement, production, on-site assembly/installation and commissioning of systems • Maintain close coordination with the customer, subcontractors and authorities • Lead an experienced project team • Convene and lead all project meetings • Handle claim management vis‑à‑vis the customer and subcontractors • Document key milestones • Take full responsibility for costs, schedules and quality • Respond to changes in sub‑goals and the budget • Report project progress to divisional and executive management
Job Requirements
- Technical training or an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Several years of professional experience as a Project Manager, preferably from the logistics industry
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Goal-oriented working style combined with assertiveness
- Confident use of MS Office (including MS Project)
- Good CAD skills
- SAP knowledge
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 50% — DACH region plus Eastern Europe)

Role Description We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (CG04/CG05) who will assist managers with researching, writing, and preparing sections of environmental (CEQA/NEPA) and planning documents. This includes initial studies, environmental impact reports, environmental notices, and coordination through the environmental process. The Assistant Project Manager will also assist project managers with managing, processing, financial, and administrative functions, ensuring projects meet scopes, schedules, and budgets to client satisfaction. This position requires a minimum of three years of related experience. This role reports to the Project Manager. Duties and Responsibilities - Assist project managers with the preparation of sections of initial studies, environmental impact reports, and other related CEQA/NEPA documents for both public and private clients. - Support project managers with team coordination including, but not limited to, internal meetings, client meetings, and public presentations and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. - Assist with the coordination of internal technical teams and sub-consultants. - Expand knowledge of environmental documentation through attendance at training sessions and courses. - Perform research, analysis, and writing of project conditions, impacts, and mitigation efficiently and present in a concise and professional manner. - Perform some coordination with public and private groups. - Conduct fieldwork, including site visits for environmental information and photos. - Assist in the preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, as well as marketing materials. - Participate in marketing efforts and phone calls to potential new and existing clients. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Planning, Geography, Biology, or a related field preferred. - 3+ years of related work experience. - Working knowledge of CEQA and its processing requirements. - General understanding of NEPA. - Technical competence and understanding of one or more environmental specialties such as land use, socio-economics, natural resources, hydrology, air, noise, etc. Skills - Effective communication through written and oral methods. - Promote teamwork through interpersonal skills. - Demonstrate organizational skills. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office software applications, especially Word and Excel, as well as internet usage. - Strong organizational and analytical skills.
