Role Description We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (CG04/CG05) who will assist managers with researching, writing, and preparing sections of environmental (CEQA/NEPA) and planning documents. This includes initial studies, environmental impact reports, environmental notices, and coordination through the environmental process. The Assistant Project Manager will also assist project managers with managing, processing, financial, and administrative functions, ensuring projects meet scopes, schedules, and budgets to client satisfaction. This position requires a minimum of three years of related experience. This role reports to the Project Manager. Duties and Responsibilities - Assist project managers with the preparation of sections of initial studies, environmental impact reports, and other related CEQA/NEPA documents for both public and private clients. - Support project managers with team coordination including, but not limited to, internal meetings, client meetings, and public presentations and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. - Assist with the coordination of internal technical teams and sub-consultants. - Expand knowledge of environmental documentation through attendance at training sessions and courses. - Perform research, analysis, and writing of project conditions, impacts, and mitigation efficiently and present in a concise and professional manner. - Perform some coordination with public and private groups. - Conduct fieldwork, including site visits for environmental information and photos. - Assist in the preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, as well as marketing materials. - Participate in marketing efforts and phone calls to potential new and existing clients. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Planning, Geography, Biology, or a related field preferred. - 3+ years of related work experience. - Working knowledge of CEQA and its processing requirements. - General understanding of NEPA. - Technical competence and understanding of one or more environmental specialties such as land use, socio-economics, natural resources, hydrology, air, noise, etc. Skills - Effective communication through written and oral methods. - Promote teamwork through interpersonal skills. - Demonstrate organizational skills. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office software applications, especially Word and Excel, as well as internet usage. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. Work Environment The position operates in either an in-office or remote home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This position may require travel to attend meetings, briefings, hearings, and presentations. Compliance with all travel and in-person requirements is a must. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may spend extended periods of time sitting in front of the computer. The position regularly requires talking and hearing, standing, stooping, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and hand/finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Compensation $27.00 - $40.00 Hourly. Role Description This role involves supporting and leading ESG consulting engagements across North America. - Lead and provide support for ESG and sustainability consulting projects, including regulatory and voluntary reporting & disclosure, GHG inventories, and setting ESG corporate strategy. - Contribute to quantitative modeling and evaluation of decarbonization strategies, including assessment of emissions drivers, reduction levers, and progress against climate targets. - Support ESG and climate-related disclosures and reporting aligned with global regulations and frameworks, such as CSRD/ESRS, TCFD/ISSB, and other jurisdictional climate requirements. - Assist project team members with the research, preparation, and completion of client deliverables. - Support project management activities such as tracking milestones, coordinating internal contributors, and preparing materials for client meetings and calls. - Create and contribute to internal and client-facing documents, and support team members on client calls. - Contribute to improving internal processes and enhancing project deliverables. - Contribute to the team’s marketing efforts through drafting blogs and supporting webinars.
