About the role: As a Pre‑Sales Representative, Data and Decision Solutions, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales organization by serving as a technical and product expert. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other cross‑functional teams to design, position, and demonstrate data‑driven solutions that help clients manage risk, prevent fraud, verify identity, and make smarter business decisions. What you will be doing: - Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to support discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and deal progression. - Lead deep technical and business discovery conversations to understand customer goals, requirements, and challenges. - Translate customer requirements into well‑designed technical solutions and architectures aligned to FIS data and decisioning platforms. - Deliver tailored, value‑focused product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leaders and executives. - Design and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs), pilots, and sandbox evaluations to validate solution fit and value. - Develop and present solution collateral including architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and compliance overviews. - Support RFP/RFI responses by providing accurate technical content, product positioning, and competitive differentiation. - Serve as a trusted technical advisor by clearly articulating how product features translate into measurable business outcomes. - Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Success to ensure accurate positioning and smooth handoffs. What you will need: - Strong ability to understand, demonstrate, and explain complex technical products and platforms. - Proven experience translating customer business and technical requirements into effective solution designs. - Strong discovery skills with the ability to run in‑depth technical and solution‑oriented conversations. - Data literacy with the ability to analyze, interpret, and explain data using tools such as SQL, Excel, or BI platforms. - Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, SDKs, and webhooks. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Strong presentation, storytelling, and demo delivery skills. - Comfort supporting multiple sales opportunities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Added bonus if you have: - Industry experience in payments issuing or acquiring, transaction fraud, identity verification, risk scoring, or data monetization. - Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Experian, LexisNexis, Socure, Alloy, Persona, Accuity, Jumio, or similar providers. - Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks including FCRA and GLBA. - Experience creating sales collateral, demos, presentations, and technical documentation. - Exposure to security, privacy, and compliance standards such as SOC 2, PCI, and data governance principles. - Prior experience supporting enterprise or mid‑market SaaS or data‑driven solutions in a pre‑sales or solution consulting role.
