Role Description The role of the Technical Service Engineer / Plastics Engineer is to provide commercial technical support at existing and targeted customers. This position requires interaction with a variety of customers, suppliers, agencies, testing facilities, as well as with various personnel within the Ravago organization. This position will cover the South Region. - Hands-on Processing assistance and/or troubleshooting processes (injection, extrusion, blow-molding) - Answering a variety of plastics related questions on material properties, processing, equipment, testing, etc. - Application review/material selection - Mold design review - Attending customer meetings as the ‘technical expert’ - Presenting technical workshops - Providing general support for technical questions, requests for technical literature, material properties or other technical documents. - Assisting with determining the cause of part failures - Specification approval assistance - Work on projects such as developing technical presentations, competitive offset lists; assisting Business Development Managers with special projects, etc. - Participating in conference calls with customers on technical discussions - Provide Technical support during processing trials. - Write Technical report of trials and or customer projects. - Write visit reports to document their visits and disseminate information as well as to help the rest of the Technology Group learn from them. Role Description Business Development is the front-end growth engine for ExxonMobil PPE and PVE. This role supports sellers with target account development, CRM pipeline ownership, opportunity qualification, and movement of priority programs toward technical and commercial engagement.
