• At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in the United States to join us in testing a globally known e-commerce website. • More specifically, we're looking for users with particular PayPal accounts that can help us identify some potential issues with the currency converter payment flow. • Type of testing: Payments testing. • Workload: Approximately 1h of work with the possibility of joining other projects after a successful test run.
Job Requirements
- Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.

- Special Requirement: A PayPal account with the default Currency of AUD or EUR.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a hands-on role combining both automation and manual testing. You will be responsible for ensuring that every feature and release meets our quality bar before it reaches production — defining test strategies, building automated test suites, and catching issues before our users do. You will work closely with developers, product owners and business analysts in a fast-paced agile environment, taking ownership of quality across the full software delivery lifecycle. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Create test strategies, test plans and test cases, and execute them to ensure delivered software consistently meets quality standards. - Design, build and maintain automated tests using Selenium and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. - Execute manual testing across functional, browser compatibility, device, smoke, integration and regression scenarios. - Review user stories, acceptance criteria, code and tests produced by peers to ensure completeness and quality. - Actively participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives. - Assist in the rollout and post-release support of applications to ensure quality is maintained across environments. - Produce and maintain documentation including test reports and release notes. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, test strategy and tooling across the team. - Collaborate with a cross-functional team who collectively take responsibility for deliverables and quality. - Stay current with emerging QA tools, testing approaches and technologies, and bring actionable recommendations to the team.
• Reviewing and approving quality-related procedures, work instructions, drawings, specifications, field change requests, Project Quality Plans, and other project and Quality-related documents ensuring that quality requirements are built into the processes. • Assembly of documentation packages per PQP and contract requirements. • Review and approve purchase orders for quality-impacting materials and services. • Review inspection results for correctness and compliance. • Performing internal surveillances of quality processes to ensure compliance. • Review and approve supplier documentation such as CMTRs and inspection records. • Verify compliance with design, regulatory, and contractual requirements. • Supporting internal and external audits. • Verifying that all work performed at the Manning location and at Customer sites is in accordance with design requirements, Codes and Standards, and project contract agreements. • Performing assigned Witness/Hold points as identified in the work process documentation. • Coordinating dispositions of any deficiencies and nonconformances related to materials and processes. • Ensuring deficiencies are documented, investigated, and resolved. • Providing quality oversight of in-process welding, machining, NDT, and other inspection processes. • Initiating “Stop Work” when necessary to ensure compliance to procedures, processes, and Codes. • Interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. • Managing and directing the Quality Control (QC) field staff, as needed. • Assist Project Management with Quality Program Indoctrination to the Project Team.
